Prices on created Eco Diamonds like mined diamonds are related to the size of the diamond. So a 1.00 carat diamond is not typically twice the price of the 0.50 carat diamond, it is generally some exponential amount more. With Eco Diamonds, there is a price difference between smaller and larger carat sizes but to a much lesser extent than with mined diamonds. Many of the same reasons mined diamonds cost more are related to Eco Diamonds, like the size of the rough diamond crystal, the color and clarity. All of these factors effect the way the Eco Diamond is cut and the resulting finished carat weight.
